Education Legacy

From shortly after the founding of Redemption Lutheran Church Christian Education was a very important part of our mission and ministry. Beginning with a kindergarten that eventually grew to a K-8 school in conjunction with Mount Hope Lutheran Church. The Mt Hope-Redemption school came to develop a Legacy Fund to provide scholarships to aid in the ability of families desiring a LCMS Elementary Education for their children in the Twin Cities area.

Even though the feasibility of a school with our own walls is no longer possible, the Legacy Fund lives on to support the ministry of Christian Education with the ability to provide scholarships. Redemption Lutheran Church has recently expanded parameters to include broader Christian Education and secondary LCMS education.

Scholarship Eligibility

The Redemption Legacy Fund will provide scholoships to current members of Redemption Lutheran Church and their relatives for obtaining pre-k through grade 12 Christian education in the greater Twin Cities area or attending LCMS college, university, or seminary. Relatives will include step-children, adopted children, and relatives by marrage.
