National Night Out 2024
Join us at Redemption Lutheran Church for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6 from 6:00-8:00 pm. There will be games, refreshments from Martin Luther Campus, and live music from the Land O Dixie Rented Mules. Let's meet our neighbors!
Easter Egg Hunt
Easter Egg Hunt for 2-10 year old’s.
All children will receive a gift bag in addition to the contents of the eggs they find
Registration is requested, but not required to attend.
Christmas Eve Services
Join us for one of our two Christmas Eve Services.
The first is at 3:00 pm with music led with the piano.
The second is at 11:00 pm with music led with the organ.
An Afternoon of Holiday Music!
There will be a double feature Christmas Concert featuring The Bloomington Chorale performing “Holiday Joy!” and The NOTEable Singers performing “A Musical Mosaic!”
The Bloomington Chorale will begin at 3:30 pm followed by a short intermission
The NOTEable Singers will begin at 4:30 pm
Out of respect for others in attendance and the performers in the concert you are asked to wear a facemask during this event.
Admission is free - there will be a freewill offering

Polka Service
Join us once again for our Polka Service with music by Rod Cerar on Sunday, October 17.
Drive-up BBQ
Redemption is once again hosting a Drive-thru BBQ event featuring Dickey’s BBQ. The menu options have changed with the addition of 4 ribs and a side for $14, or the Beef Brisket sandwich for $12. Please make your orders online by October 13 through the Redemption website found here.
Proceeds go to the Faith Forward campaign as we continue to raise funds for re-roofing sections on the south end of the building.
Flu Shots
On Wednesday, October 13th from 4:15-6:15pm you can get your flu shot at Redemption Lutheran Church. The flu vaccinations will be provided and administered by Bloomington Public Health. If you have a heath insurance card you are asked to bring it but it is not necessary to get the flu shot.

Rally Sunday
We will be celebrating the beginning of fall activities, classes and bible studies with Rally Sunday on September 12. There will be extra information in the bulletin that morning on the opportunities available and who to contact about joining any of the groups.
Beginning at 10:15 am we will have a light breakfast served under the gym awning, with seating outside, weather permitting. Allowing us to have some time of fellowship as we look to move back into a regular schedule of meeting together for the coming school year.
Installation Service
There will be an installation service for Pastor Joshua Parrish as Redemption’s new pastor, on Sunday, June 14 at 3 pm. The service will take place outside with the congregation in their cars in the parking lot. We will transmit on 103.3 fm for you to be able to hear on your car radio as you are in the parking lot. For those who are not able, or do not feel comfortable coming together yet as we are still dealing with Covid 19, we also plan to live stream the service to Facebook, Youtube, and our website.
Lenten mid-week
Join us for our Lenten series on the “Eyes on Jesus”.
With the cancellation of services, there will not be any of the lite suppers, hymn sings, or in person gathering for the Lenten season. There will be an abbreviated service posted to the website which includes the lessons and sermon for Wednesday, March 25 for you to view. That days video will also post to the Redemption Lutheran Church facebook page at the 6:30 pm service time.

Redemption's Community Christmas Concert
Christmas Concert featuring different singers and musicians from Redemption and the community, including: 3 Good Samaritans Jugs Band, Land O’ Dixies Rented Mules, Bloomington Chorale, and the NoteAble Singers.
Admission is free, but we will be collecting for VEAP if you would like to bring in a food item to drop off.
Reformation Day Observed

Becky's Believers Book Sale
This is the 10th and final Becky’s Believers Book Sale. Money raised will support Hope Lodge. Hours for sale will be Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm and Sunday 10:00am-2:00pm.
